A Step-by-Step Guide to Modifying Transport Rules
WiseStamp's server-side solution is a powerful tool that allows you to route your organization's emails through WiseStamp SMTP to automatically append signatures to your outgoing messages. However, there might be instances when you need to exclude certain domains from this process. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to exclude domains from the transport rule in Exchange.
Follow these steps to exclude domains from the transport rule in Exchange for WiseStamp:
Step 1:
Go to Exchange Admin and log in to your Exchange Admin Center using your administrator credentials.
Step 2:
Navigate to Mail Flow > Rules In the left-hand menu, click on Mail Flow, and then select Rules.
Step 3:
Locate the WiseStamp Rule Find the rule named Identify messages to send to WS SMTP. This rule is responsible for routing emails to WiseStamp SMTP.
Step 4:
Click on the WiseStamp Rule Click on the Identify messages to send to WS SMTP rule to open its settings.
Step 5:
Click the Edit Rule Conditions to modify the rule conditions.
Step 6:
Add a New Condition Click on the + symbol next to "Apply this rule if."
Step 7:
Configure the Condition Under "And" and click on Select one.
Step 8:
Define the Sender and Domain From the first dropdown menu, select The sender. Then, from the second dropdown menu, choose domain is.
Step 9:
Specify Domains to Include In the "specify domain" field, add all domains that you would like to route through WiseStamp SMTP. Any domain that is excluded will not route through WiseStamp, and a signature will not be attached to the emails sent from those domains.
Step 10:
Save the Changes Click Save to apply the changes to the transport rule.
You have now successfully excluded domains from the transport rule in Exchange for WiseStamp's server-side solution. This will prevent emails from the specified domains from being routed through WiseStamp SMTP, ensuring that signatures are not added to those messages.
