Signature Apps
The Apps tab of the Signature Editor offers a large variety of features and special components that you can use to customize and boost the value of your signature. Banners, disclaimers, quotes, and different types of call-to-action buttons are just a few of the options provided. This topic describes the options available on the Apps tab and describes some of the most frequently used apps.
Apps tab overview
The Apps tab contains a list of different types of apps (features and call-to-actions) that you can use to enhance your signature. To get an idea of how a apps will look in your signature, hover your mouse over it. A preview of the relevant apps is displayed in the pane on the right side of the page.
To use an app, click the relevant app type. This opens a new page where you can specify the app's content and select design details, such as color, size and alignment. To save changes and add the app to your signature, click the Add button (at the bottom of the page).
Managing your apps
Active apps
Apps that you added to your signature are listed at the top of the Apps tab, under Your Active Apps. Apps can be displayed above or below your signature details (represented by the Your signature here bar).
Add, edit and remove apps
The Edit and Delete icons on the right side of the rows allows you to update or remove apps.
Change app order
The drag-and-drop icons on the left side of the rows allow you to change the order in which the apps are displayed in your signature. To rearrange apps, click on this icon and drag the app to the desired position in the list.
When you are finish making updates to your apps, clicking Done Editing to save your changes.
Adding signature enhancements
The Enhance Your Signature section of the Apps tab provides a selection of features you can use to design the look of your sign-off, add required content, or simply make your signature more appealing. Some popular options offered are the Disclaimer, Styled Sign-off and Quotes (customer reviews).

Banner app
The Banner app allows you to upload any banner image to your signature, and includes a hyperlink to lead to a specific landing page.
To add a banner to your signature click on the Upload my banner app in the Apps tab.
Once your image is uploaded you can change the banner size, alignment and add a hyperlink. When using WiseStamp for Teams, you can use a company or employee attributes in the Banner link to field for a customized link per employee or to add url parameters for better link tracking.
!tip!The banner can be placed below or above the signature.!/tip!
Disclaimer app
This app lets you add a disclaimer statement to your signature. Click Disclaimer to open the Add a disclaimer page. You can choose a predefined disclaimer from the list, or select Custom disclaimer to compose your own statement. The settings under Disclaimer style let you choose the color, size and alignment of your statement. The disclaimer text will extend the full width of the email unless the text includes a manual break, such as a line break or a paragraph break (Enter). After completing your disclaimer, click Add to add it to your signature.
Styled Sign-off app
A Styled Sign-off is an app that makes your email closing more appealing by giving it elegance and flair. You can choose the size of the writing, add a closing phrase, or even design your own completely customized sign-off.
To create your stylized closing, click Styled Sign-off to open the Sign-off settings page. Then design your sign-off by defining the following settings:

Sign-off | Lets you select a sign-off text, such as Regards, Best wishes, etc. Select a phrase from the list, or select Custom text to write your own sign-off phrase. If you selected Your name as the type, the sign-off phrase appears above the name. |
Sign as | By default, your name (as listed in the Details tab) appears here. If you wish, you can change this to a nickname or other variation of your name. |
Font | Open the list to select either plain text (ordinary letters) or one of a variety of handwritten-like fonts. |
Animate | Select Animate, to display the text gradually to mimic writing, |
Size | Select small, medium, or large font. |
Alignment | Select left, center, or right alignment of the sign-off . |
When you select a Custom sign-off type, an empty frame appears in which you can design your Sign-off. Use the drawing tool to create an image in the colors of your choice. Click the Undo icon to remove your last action, and click the Trash icon to clear the drawing board. Alternatively, you can use an existing image by clicking Upload from file.
When you finish defining the settings, click Add to add the new sign-off to your signature.
Quote app
The Quote app allows you to add content such as customer reviews and recommendations to your signatures.
To create custom quotes:
- Click Quote to open the Add a quote page.
- Under Choose a category, select My Own Quotes.
- Enter your quote in the field that opens. You may upload as many quotes as you like by clicking Add another quote.
- At the bottom of the page, select the color, size and alignment of the quote.
- Click Add.
- Refresh your email to make sure you send your emails with the updated signature.
!note! If you cannot decide which review to use, you can upload as many reviews as you want and your signature is updated every 12 hours to showcase a different review. (This feature is supported for users of the WiseStamp extension for Chrome or the Google API.)!/note!
Call To Action apps
The Call To Action apps offer a wide selection of items that prompt your email recipients to perform a specific activity, such as make a payment, book a meeting, download an app, and more. You can also use a Call To Action app for advertising purposes, such as publicizing an event or a job opening.
Some commonly used Call to Action apps are the Online scheduler, Custom buttons, and image apps such as banners and HTML app.
Online scheduler app
The Online scheduler app enables your clients to book a meeting right from their inbox. You can customize the look of the Book a meeting button by selecting its shape, color, icon, and more.
To use the Online scheduler app:
- Click Online scheduler. This opens the Online Meeting Scheduler settings page.
- Review the selections under Choose scheduling provider. We recommend using the vcita scheduling solution. However, if you work with another scheduling app, such as Calendly, selectI already have a scheduling provider and enter the access link to your scheduling account in the Scheduler Url field.
- Under Button design, specify the Button text (the words displayed on the button). The default text is Book a meeting.
- Select a Color and Type for the button. The Type determines the degree of button filling:
- Full: The button is completely filled with the selected Color.
- Light: Only the outline of the button is filled.
- Simple link: The button shape is hidden (no fill) and only the Button text is visible.
- Select the Size and Icon for the button.
- Select the Shape for the button. (If you selected Simple link for the type, the Shape option is hidden.)
- Click Add to add the button to your signature.
Custom buttons app
The Custom button app enables you to design your own button and adds it to your email signature. You not only specify the button's text and target webpage, but you also choose its size, color, shape and fill type. In addition, the custom button features an arrow to make it clear to your audience that the button is clickable.
To create a custom button:
- In the Call To Action section on the Apps tab, click Custom button. This opens the Custom Button settings page:
- Under Button details, enter the words to be displayed on the button (Button text) and the link to the webpage that users go to when they click the button (Button URL).
- Under Button style, select a Shape for the button.
- Select a Type to define the degree of button filling:
- Full: The button is completely filled with the selected Color.
- Light: Only the outline of the button is filled.
- Simple link: The button's shape is hidden (no fill) and only the Button text is visible.
- Select the colors for the button. The Color option is for the background, and the Font color is for the text.
!tip!The default Font color is white, so if you don't see any text, select a different color.!/tip!
- Select the button's Size and Alignment.
- By default, a custom button includes an arrow to emphasize that it is a link. If you want to hide the arrow, Add arrow should not be selected.
- Click Add to add the button to your signature.
Instagram gallery app
!note!The Instagram gallery app is not available for WiseStamp for Teams users.!/note!
The Instagram Gallery app displays a list of your most recent uploads to Instagram.
You can connect one Instagram account to appear in all of your signatures and showcase your work.
If you are already connected to one Instagram account, and you want to switch to another account, we need to reset the permissions on our end. Contact WiseStamp support team to reset this permission for you.
