Installing the WiseStamp Desktop app for Teams accounts
The WiseStamp Desktop app, which can operate on Windows and Mac, can be installed on a user's computer to automatically feed the user's Outlook or Mac Mail with the WiseStamp signature. Once the app is installed, every change made to the WiseStamp signature will be immediately reflected in Outlook or Mac Mail, without the need to access signature settings and make changes manually.
!important! This article describes how to deploy WiseStamp for Teams accounts users. If you are using WiseStamp for Pro account please follow the deployment instructions on the WiseStamp Add-in Outlook deployment for Pro account. !/important!
You can send instructions to your users about how to install the WiseStamp app on their computers. Alternatively, you can have your company's IT department install the app on every user's desktop through Group Policy Object (GPO) or Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment. !/open!

After installing the app, continue by providing activation codes to your users in one of the following ways:
- Send users their activation codes by manually inviting them (from the Employees page).
Important: As the add-on will be installed on your users' machines only after their next restart, we recommend sending the invites 24-48 hours after completing GPO installation.
The invite email login link and login code are valid for 24 hours only. - Automatically add the activation codes to users' machines by running the Auto Login script.
Running the Auto Login script (GPO installation)
After deploying the Outlook Desktop app via GPO distribution, the app needs to be activated on your employees' machines by providing the activation code (also known as the login code). The Auto Login script automatically activates the app for your employees, enabling them to use the app. The script is recommended when quick onboarding is essential or when you prefer not to involve your employees' in-app activation.
Before you begin, verify that you have successfully installed the WiseStamp app on your employees' machines. In addition, you will need the following components:
- The script file: Download the PowerShell script and save it in the shared folder you created for the GPO deployment.
- The WiseStamp token: You will need this token to add the script to your Group Policy. Please obtain the required token from the WiseStamp support team.
Running the Script
Follow these steps to add and run the Auto Login script:
- From the Server Manager app, navigate to Tools > Group Policy Management.
- Right-click on the group policy you created and select Edit.
- In the Group Policy Management Editor, navigate to User Configuration > Policies > Windows Settings. Then, select Scripts (Logon/Logoff) and click Logon.
- In the Logon Properties dialog, select the PowerShell Scripts tab, and click Add.
- In the popup that opens, configure the following settings:
- Script Name: The path to the script file.
- Script Parameters: This is the WiseStamp token that you obtained from the WiseStamp support team. Enter the token using the following syntax:
token <token>
Make sure there is a space between the token parameter and the token string. - In the Group Policy Management Editor, navigate to User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows PowerShell and select Turn on Script Execution.
- In the dialog that opens, select the Enabled radio button and the Allow all scripts option. Then, click Apply and OK.
- In the Group Policy Management Editor, navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Group Policy and select Configure Logon Script Delay.
- In the dialog that opens, select the Disabled radio button. Then, click Apply and OK.
- To push your group policy changes, open the command line and run the following command:
gpupdate /force
Using the Desktop App
Once the WiseStamp app is activated on your employees' machines, the Teams Signature will be added to all new emails, replies, and forwards.
To successfully use the app, employees should make sure the Use in Outlook checkbox is selected. They should then verify that Teams Signature is the selected signature.

(The token generated is valid for one year. You will need to update it periodically.) - Navigate to Apps and search for WiseStamp. Then, set the quantity to 100,000 and click Get.
