New employee settings

!open!Once a new employee is added to the system—either automatically through sync with Google Workspace or Outlook Directory, or manually via bulk or individual upload—by default, an email signature is automatically generated for them. In this article, we will explain how to control the New employee's settings.!/open!

New employees can be automatically activated, assigned to groups, and receive invite emails, or you can choose to do these actions manually.

Navigating to the New Employees Section

1. In the WiseStamp sidebar, click on Domain Settings.
2. Navigate to the Employees tab.
3. Scroll down to locate the New Employees subsection.

Automatic Group Assignment

To automatically assign new employees to a specific group, select your desired group from the Employee Default Group dropdown menu.

Apply Automatic Activation

To enable automatic activation of new employees upon addition, select Active from the Create Employee as dropdown menu.

!note!Note: Automatically activated employees will consume seat allocations in your WiseStamp account and gain access to all employee features. !/note!

Automatic Activation settings

If automatic activation of an employee is applied, all activation settings - Automatic email invites and Auto-inject signature - will automatically apply as well. To change the Automatic activation setting go to Domain settings > Employees > Employee activation.

Automatic Email Invites

When enabled, newly added employees will receive an invitation to edit their personal details and export their signatures to various email platforms. To automatically send an invite email to new employees, enable the relevant option by checking the Send employee an invite email option.

Auto-Inject Signature

To automatically deploy the company signature to new employees' emails, enable Inject signature to employee's Gmail checkbox.
