Removing employees

Whether you have a large workforce or a small team, our platform makes it easy to add new employees, update their information, and generate email signatures for them. In this article, we will walk you through how to remove employees from the WiseStamp platform.!!/open!
!important!Integrated accounts (to Google Workspace or Azure Active Directory) that are auto-synced will automatically delete any employee that no longer exists in the directory.!/important!
Removing employees can be done in two ways: Archive and Delete.
Archiving an employee
Archiving an employee enables you to remove the employee from the employees' list while keeping their information in the WiseStamp system (for later use, if required), and you can change the status of an archived employee back to Active or Inactive at any time. In addition, employees who have been imported from a corporate directory (Google Workspace or Azure Active Directory) cannot be deleted, but you can archive them.
To archive an employee: click the menu icon in the employee’s row and select Archive.
To view the archived employees: change the Archive filter status (in the filter toolbar) to view.
Deleting an employee
Deleting an employee will remove their information permanently from the WiseStamp platform. The delete option is only available for employees who have not been imported from the corporate directory (Google Workspace or Azure Active Directory).
!warning! Deleting an employee completely removes them from the system. This action is irreversible after you clicked the confirmation pop-up. !/warning!
To Delete an Employee: Click the menu icon in the employee’s row and select Delete > Confirm.
