Invite Employee Email
WiseStamp's invite emails allow your employees to edit their personal details and export their signatures to various email platforms. For convenience, WiseStamp provides a predesigned template for the invite email. As an administrator, you can change the invite email settings, get a preview of your invite email, and even select the email platforms to which your employees can export their signatures. This article shows you how to work with the invite email settings.
To access the invite email settings from the left panel, click Settings. Then on the Settings page, go to the Invite email tab.
!note! WiseStamp has implemented a Trust Policy to enhance security and control. To send invite emails you must first verify your email address from the Profile page. If you encounter any issues sending Invite emails, please contact the WiseStamp support team for assistance. !/note!
Configure the email subject and sender
At the top of the page, review the email Subject and Sender, and change the settings if necessary. (By default, the Sender is the account owner.)
!note!Note: In order to successfully send invite emails, the Sender needs to be the name of an employee or the administrator of the account.!/note!
Configure settings for the email body
Here, you can select which instructions the email invite contains. You can prevent confusion by sending your employees the specific instructions that you know they need.
The Email body settings are:
- Ask employees to review and edit their details: This allows employees to update employee attributes that have employee editing permissions. To view a list of these fields, hover over the Info icon.
If you do not want to allow your employees to edit their personal details, verify that the checkbox is not selected. - Share manual installation instructions: This setting lets you select the email platforms to which your employees are able to export their signatures. When you select options here, the invite email contains a link to online instructions.
Changing the signature in the invite emails
Invitation emails are sent from the WiseStamp account administrator to new users. The invitation email instructs the user on how to add the signature to their email.
The signature shown at the bottom of the email is pulled from the "main" WiseStamp account administrator, which is usually whoever originally set up the account.
If you wish to change the signature on the bottom of the invite email to someone else on your team and to change the "main" account administrator, please contact WiseStamp support team.
