A great way to promote your blog is to include your latest posts in your email signature. Our Blog- RSS feed app allows you to do just that!
In order to use the RSS feed app you must have your blog’s RSS feed URL. Here’s how you can get it:
- For WordPress websites:
Just add /feed/ to the end of your website’s URL.
Example: https://ExampleWordPressWebsite.com/feed/
- For websites powered by other providers:
Right click on the website’s page, and choose Page Source. In the new window that appears, use the “find” feature (Ctrl + F on a PC or Command + F on a Mac), and type in RSS. You’ll find the feed’s URL between the quotes after href=.
You can see detailed instructions at the RSS.com website.
Important: The RSS Feed app, as well as other dynamic apps, are updated in conjunction with the Google API. Signatures which have been copied into other mail programs, like Outlook or Mac Mail, aren’t linked with the Google API and they will not update automatically. You will need to copy your updated signature to show new blog posts. For instructions on how to do it see our article Adding Legacy Teams to Outlook or Add your Legacy Teams signature to Mac Mail. |
