How can I choose which fields will be synced from my directory into WiseStamp?
WiseStamp can sync the employees fields from your O365/Google Workspace directory. This will save you a lot of time, as you will already have all of your employees information in just one click on Sync. The information from your directory syncs to the relevant fields on WiseStamp, for example: department, title, phone number, etc. You can choose which fields will be synced from your directory to WiseStamp, and which fields will override the existing employees details.
Step 1
Hover your mouse over the sidebar and click Domain Settings>Sync settings.
Step 2
Turn the main Sync toggle on (on=blue). Then, you will see your WiseStamp fields list, you can decide which fields will sync into your employees details by switching the toggles on/off. If you already have information in your Employees Details and you need to get new information from your directory, turn on the Overwrite toggle. This will overwrite existing information on WiseStamp with new information from your directory.
If you don't see the fields on your directory in WiseStamp, you might need a custom mapping. Custom mapping allows WiseStamp to sync information from any fields that you have on your directory, even if they are named differently.
