Group Policy Instructions for installing the WiseStamp app for Outlook for PC
In this article we will go over all the steps needed to install the WiseStamp app for your organization.
Download the installation file by clicking here.
Create a new folder, and move the installation file to that folder. In the screenshot below we created a folder with the name “Installers”.
Right-click on the new folder and select “Properties”. Then, choose the "Sharing" tab and copy the full network path.
Go to Server Manager > Tools > Group Policy Management and select your domain. Right-click on your domain and select “Create a GPO in this domain”. Give your domain a name and click “OK”.
Right-click on the new Group Policy Object you have just created and select “Edit”.
Right-click on the blank area and select New > Package.
Paste the network path (see Step 3) into the address bar and then open the installer.
Choose the assigned deployment method and click “OK.”
Right-click on the WiseStamp installer and choose “Properties.”
Go to the “Deployment” tab, and check the option to “Uninstall the application when it falls out of the scope of management.” Then, click “Apply.”
Send your users their activation codes from the Manage Users page by inviting them. As the add-on will be installed on your users' machines only after their next restart, we recommend sending the invite 24-48 hours after completing the GPO installation.
