Centralized installation of the WiseStamp App for Outlook/Mac Mail on Mac (MDM)
The WiseStamp Desktop App can be installed on Apple computers both centrally and per user. In this article, we will instruct you on how to centrally install the WiseStamp app for everyone in your organization by using MDM*. We will use JumpCloud as an example of an MDM service provider, but you can use any other provider (e.g. Ninja One).
*MDM lets you securely and wirelessly configure devices by sending profiles and commands to the device, whether they're owned by the user or your organization.
WiseStamp Desktop App
Add your Wisestamp for Teams (2022) signature to Mac Mail (per user)
Log in to Apple Business Manager (https://business.apple.com).
Generate a new server token by following these instructions.
*The token generated on Apple (see step 2 above), is valid for 1 year. You will need to update it from time to time.
Navigate to Apps and search for WiseStamp. Then, set the quantity to 100,000 and click on Get.
Open your MDM service provider account (in this case we will use JumpCloud). Navigate to MDM and then select the VPP tab. Click on Add token and follow the instructions to upload your server token from the business manager.
On your MDM service provider (in this case Jumpcloud), go to Device Management → Software Management and select the devices/groups on which you would like to install the WiseStamp app.
After completing the steps above, the WiseStamp app will be installed on your users’ machines. The last step will be providing activation codes to your users in the following way:
Send users their activation codes by manually inviting them (from the Employees page).
Important: As the app will be installed on your users' machines only after their next restart, we recommend sending the invites 24-48 hours after completing the MDM installation.
The invite email login link and login code are valid for 24 hours only.
