Disable the WiseStamp routing rule on Exchange online
How to Disable the Routing Rule on Exchange Online
As a WiseStamp user who uses the server-side solution, you may encounter a critical issue where your emails are not going through. In such rare and dramatic events, you may need to disable the routing rule on Exchange online until further investigation with WiseStamp's team. Disabling the routing rule ensures that your emails bypass WiseStamp's servers, allowing them to be delivered without any interference. In this article, we'll guide you through the steps to disable the rule. Remember, this should never happen under normal circumstances, but if it does, disabling the rule and contacting support is the best course of action to get your emails back up and running.
Step 1
Sign in to your Exchange Online account and open the Exchange Admin Center.
Step 2
From the Exchange Admin Center dashboard, click on Mail Flow in the left-hand menu.
Step 3
Under Mail Flow, click on Rules to view your organization's current mail flow rules.
Step 4
Locate the rule labeled Identify messages to send to WS SMTP and click on it to view its details.
Step 5
To disable the rule, click on the toggle switch next to the rule's name. The toggle will turn gray, and then green, indicating that the rule is now disabled.
Once you've disabled the routing rule, your emails will no longer be routed through WiseStamp's servers, and your signature will not be injected into your emails. If you need further assistance with troubleshooting your signature, please contact support@wisestamp.com or your customer success manager.
Please note that as long as the rule is disabled, all emails will bypass WiseStamp's server, even those that may have been previously routed through it. You may need to re-enable the rule at a later time to resume signature injection.
We hope this article has been helpful in guiding you through the process of disabling the routing rule on Exchange online. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@wisestamp.com.
