Audience: IT manager / system administrator. Complete this before Connect Your Directory.
1. Administrative access

3. Google Workspace requirements

4. Email authentication (DNS) — server-side
Requirement | Notes |
SPF updated for WiseStamp | Add include:outbound.smtp.wisestamp.net to your domain’s SPF TXT record. New record: v=spf1 include:outbound.smtp.wisestamp.net -all. Editing existing: insert the include before -all. TTL 1 hour. |
DKIM alignment | When mail routes through WiseStamp server-side, your existing Google DKIM may fail. WiseStamp issues a unique DKIM record per account — request it from support and add it as a TXT record, then have support enable DKIM signing. Verify dkim=pass. |
SPF lookup limit | SPF allows max 10 DNS lookups; flatten nested records if you hit "SPF not found." Use an SPF lookup tool to inspect. |
Have DNS zone edit access ready before starting server-side setup.
5. Network / IP allowlist — server-side SMTP relay
For server-side, the SMTP relay step must accept mail returning from WiseStamp. Allow your own domain addresses and WiseStamp’s IP addresses:

The server-side send route uses host <your-routing-code>.gw.smtp.wisestamp.net on port 25.
this is the current, complete allowlist. Port/TLS requirements beyond port 25 as stated above were not further specified by WiseStamp.
6. Pre-flight checklist

☐ WiseStamp plan supports the intended method.
☐ WiseStamp Owner/Admin access confirmed.

☐ (Server-side) DKIM record requested from support and added; signing enabled.
☐ (Server-side) WiseStamp relay IPs allowlisted.
