Canceling your subscription stops auto-renewal and deactivates your account at the end of the current billing period, but your data (including signatures and employee details) is retained if you return later. Cancel your subscription is different from deleting your WiseStamp account, which permanently cancels your subscription and removes all account data from our database. If you may use the service again, canceling your subscription is recommended because it prevents future charges while preserving your data if you ever want to reactivate the account in the future.
How to cancel your WiseStamp subscription
You can manage your cancellation directly through the Plan & Billing page.
Profile icon: Click the Profile in the top right of the screen.
Plan & Billing: Select Plan & Billing in the dropdown menu.
Three-dot icon: In the Subscriptions section at the top of the page, click the three-dot icon and select Cancel Subscription.
What happens to my signatures after I cancel?
If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. Once the billing period ends, you will no longer have access to your WiseStamp dashboard and signatures.
How do I request a refund?
WiseStamp offers a "no questions asked" 14-day refund policy from the date of your initial purchase.
Eligibility: Refunds are only available within the first 14 days of the subscription.
Process: To request a refund, please reach out to the support team.
Processing time: Approved refunds typically take 10 to 14 business days to appear on your bank statement, depending on your bank.
Does my subscription renew automatically?
Yes, all WiseStamp subscriptions are automatically renewed for successive 12-month periods. To avoid being charged for a renewal, you must complete the cancellation steps before your next billing date, which is listed in the Subscriptions section on your Plan & Billing page.
How do I cancel my trial?
You do not need to cancel your trial. Because we never requested your credit card information to start the trial period, there is no risk of being charged once the 14 days have passed. No further action is required on your part to end the trial.
What happens when the trial expires?
The trial automatically expires after 14 days. Once the trial period ends, your signatures will no longer be active in your email client. At this point, you have two options:
Purchase a plan: You can choose to purchase a subscription to continue using your signatures without interruption.
Stop using the service: You can simply stop using the platform. Since no billing information was provided, you will not be billed.
Additionally, without an active subscription, your email signature may lose its formatting, and images might be replaced with an 'IMAGE NOT FOUND' graphic.
Will I be charged after my trial ends?
No, you will not be charged after your trial ends. WiseStamp does not collect payment details for trial accounts, ensuring that the transition from a trial to an expired state is completely free of charge unless you manually choose to upgrade to a paid plan.
What if I have an outstanding invoice?
If an invoice has already been generated, canceling your subscription or deleting your account will not cancel or waive that invoice. You remain responsible for paying any outstanding balance regardless of your account status. Canceling your subscription only stops the next renewal from being charged. It does not affect invoices that have already been issued. If you believe you were charged in error or have a billing concern, please reach out to our support team directly and we'll do our best to help.
Does deleting my account remove my billing obligations?
No. Deleting your WiseStamp account is permanent and removes all your data and signatures — but it does not cancel any outstanding invoices or override your payment obligations. Before choosing to delete your account, make sure any billing concerns have been resolved with our support team.
⚠️ Important: If you delete your account while an invoice is still outstanding, you will lose access to your data and signatures AND still be responsible for the unpaid balance.
Does the 14-day refund policy apply to renewals?
No. The 14-day "no questions asked" refund policy applies only to your initial purchase. Renewal charges are non-refundable. If you want to avoid being charged for a renewal, you must cancel your subscription before your next billing date, which is listed in the Subscriptions section of your Plan & Billing page.
