Searching, Filtering, and Sorting Employees

Updated this week

Whether you manage 200 employees or 2,000, the Employees page makes it easy to find exactly who you’re looking for. Three tools help you quickly find employees and organize your list: searching, sorting, and filtering.

  • Searching allows you to directly look up employees by name or email, so you can find someone instantly without scrolling.

  • Filtering narrows down the list so you only see employees who meet certain conditions, such as being part of a specific group or having a certain status.

  • Sorting changes the order of your employee list. This is useful when you want to scan information in a structured way, like alphabetical order.

Searching Employees

Searching is the fastest way to locate a specific employee when you already know their name or email.

Use the search bar at the top of the Employees page and enter a name or email address. The list will instantly display only employees that match your search.

Sorting Employees

Sorting helps you arrange your employee list so it’s easier to scan and find someone quickly. For example, you might sort by name if you’re looking for a specific person, or by group if you want to review everyone in a department.

You can sort by almost every column, including:

  • Name, Email, and Group – (A–Z or Z–A)

  • Status – Active, Inactive, or Archived

  • Injection (only for Google Workspace integration) – On, Off, or None

To sort, simply click the column title (e.g., Name, Status, Group).

Filtering Employees

Filtering is useful when you don’t want to scroll through your entire list — you just want to see a specific set of employees.

You can filter by:

  • Group

  • Primary Signature

  • Injection

  • Status

The list automatically shows all employees. To filter, click the filter icon next to the column title and deselect the options you don’t want.

The list will instantly update to show only employees who match your selection. Use (Select All) to quickly select or clear all options at once.

Combining Sorting and Filtering

Sorting and filtering are even more effective when used together. For example:

  • Filter by Group = Sales, then sort by Name to see all Sales employees in alphabetical order.

  • Filter by Status = Active, then sort by Group to review active employees across departments.
