Campaigns Page
The Campaigns page enables administrators to create and manage signature campaigns across the organization. To get there, click Campaigns in the left panel. From this page, you can perform the following tasks:
Create a new campaign: Click Create campaign in the top right to open the Campaign Editor, where you can define the new campaign details.
Change time zone: Click Change time zone in the top right to open the Organization tab on the Settings page, where you can set the campaign time zone.
View campaign list: Displays all existing campaigns along with general details. The Views column shows the number of times the banner was loaded into an email.
Search by name: This feature allows you to filter the list according to the campaign name. To use this feature, enter part or all of the name in the search field above the list. The Campaign list is filtered as you type.
View banner: Hover over the Eye icon in the row of the relevant campaign to see the assigned banner.
Campaign actions: Click the three-dot icon to enable you to edit campaign details, rename the campaign, or delete it.
Create new campaigns
The Campaign editor is divided into three sections: Banners, where you add the banner and its link; Position, where you control how the banner sits in the signature; and Settings, where you set the schedule, the audience, and the priority.
To create a campaign:
On the main navigation panel, click Campaigns.
Click Create campaign from the Campaigns page. The Campaign editor opens.
In the Banners section, click Add a banner. You have three options to add a banner.
Click Upload your own, where you can upload a file or use a URL from the web, Facebook, Instagram, or your webcam.
Click Select from gallery to select a banner from the WiseStamp collection.
Click Create a banner to open the WiseStamp Banner Maker to design a personalized banner.
To make the banner clickable, enter a target webpage link in the Banner link field, directly below the banner. To use a company or employee variable instead, such as the company website, enable the Use variable toggle and select the variable.
Once the banner link is entered, the Google Analytics UTM parameters are available.
If your Google Analytics account settings are applied, these fields are pre-populated with the UTM tags set on the Settings > Analytics page.
If you want to use other UTM tags for the campaign, select Set specific for the campaign from the dropdown list and enter the relevant tags in the fields.
If you want to use variables for UTM tags, enable the relevant Use variable toggle and select the variables you want. You can select more than one variable for each UTM parameter.
To run more than one banner in the same campaign, click Add another banner. See How to Use Rotating Banners in Campaigns.
In the Position section, set where the banner appears in the signature.
Banner position: Select where the banner sits in relation to the signature, for example Signature footer.
Horizontal alignment: Click the left, center, or right alignment icon.
Size: Drag the slider to set the banner width, shown as a percentage.
In the Settings section, the campaign banner is added alongside any banners that are already part of the signature. Enable the Remove signature banners during the campaign toggle to hide the signature's own banners while this campaign runs.
From the Activation time frame fields, set the date and time the campaign starts and ends. To change the time zone of the system and for your campaign, see Set the campaign time zone.
From the Assign campaign to dropdown list, choose who receives this campaign. You can assign a campaign to all employees, to specific groups, or to individual employees.
Select the priority of this campaign from the Campaign priority dropdown list to determine which banner is displayed when multiple campaigns run simultaneously. The options are Low, Regular, and High. If two campaigns apply to the same employee, the campaign with the higher priority is the one that appears. If multiple campaigns have the same priority, only one banner is selected.
Check the preview in the right panel to see how the banner looks in the signature. To preview your signature for a specific group or employee, select them from the Preview with dropdown list below the preview.
To change the preview scale, use the dropdown menu at the bottom-right of the screen.
When the campaign is configured as needed, click Save at the top-right corner.
If the start date and time is immediate, a message appears that the campaign will start immediately, and click Go Live to start the campaign.
In the popup, enter the name of the Campaign and click Save. The campaign name must be unique within the organization.
Your new campaign is displayed in the campaign list.
The recommended file size for banners is up to 500 KB to prevent slow email loading.
Set the campaign time zone
The campaign time zone determines the actual start and end times of your campaigns. The organization-wide time zone setting applies to all campaigns, which is set on the Organization page.
To set the time zone:
On the main navigation panel, click Settings and then click Organization.
Click the Time zone dropdown list and select the time zone for the organization.
Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Campaign actions
The More icon (3 dots) is displayed for each campaign in the campaign list. Click this icon to access the following action:
Icon | Description / Notes |
Edit: Opens the Campaign editor, where you can view and edit all the campaign settings.
Rename: Opens a dialog where you can edit the name of the campaign. The campaign name must be unique within the organization.
Pause: Temporarily deactivates a campaign that is currently running.
Resume: Reactivates and resumes a campaign after it has been paused.
End: Stops a campaign that is currently running. To restart an ended campaign, you need to open the campaign's settings and select new Start / End dates.
Delete: Removes the campaign from the campaign list permanently. |
What happens when a campaign ends?
When a campaign ends, WiseStamp removes the banner from your employees' signatures. Emails sent after the end date no longer include the campaign banner.
Emails that were already sent keep the signature they had at the time they were sent. WiseStamp cannot change an email that has already been delivered, so the campaign banner stays visible in your sent folder and in older emails your recipients received. This is expected and does not mean the campaign is still running.
To check whether a campaign is still running, go to Campaigns and look at the campaign's status.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |
A campaign banner still appears in emails I already sent, or in old emails my recipients received. | Emails keep the signature they had when they were sent. When a campaign ends, the banner stops appearing in new emails only. It remains in emails that were already sent, including the copies in your sent folder and in your recipients' inboxes. This cannot be changed after an email is sent. |
Outdated campaigns still showing up in new emails my employees send. |
To deactivate and reactivate, turn this switch off and then on again. |
How do I delete one of your pre-designed banners from my signature? | If you are seeing a pre-designed banner on your signature, it means you’re using our Campaigns feature. Here’s how to delete the pre-designed banner:

Campaign is not showing for some employees, even though they are Active, auto-inject is enabled, and they are synced from Google Workspace. | 1. Go to your Employees page in WiseStamp. 2. Find the affected employee and turn off the Active toggle. 3. Wait a few seconds, then turn on Active again. 4. Ask the employee to refresh their Gmail (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows / Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) and compose a new email to test. This re-pushes the campaign assignment and resolves cases where the initial sync didn't fully apply. If the issue persists after this step, please contact the support team. |
