Getting Started with the Studio

The Studio is an email signature designer that allows you to create branded signatures with greater flexibility and control compared to the Classic Signature Editor.

The Studio provides a simplified and intuitive experience for creating and editing email signatures. It includes a fast creation flow with improved navigation, an expanded Template Gallery with more relevant designs, and an Apps panel for easily adding functionality to signatures. It also features a built-in AI Designer to support quick design adjustments. Overall, the updated experience is designed to streamline the signature creation process while giving users more flexibility and control over the final result.

How do I access the Signature Studio?

You can open the Studio from your main dashboard to create or modify designs.

  • Signatures tab: Select the Signatures tab located on the left panel of the WiseStamp account.

  • New signature: Click New signature in the top-right corner to start a new design in the Studio. Then, select Try the new Studio.

  • Edit: Click Edit next to an existing signature to update a current design using the Studio.


How do I navigate the Studio left panel?

The left panel of the Studio contains the primary navigation icons for building a signature. Each icon in the Studio corresponds to a specific editing category.

  • Details: Click this icon to manage personal contact information, job titles, and company names within the Studio.

  • Images: Click this icon to upload and manage photos, company logos, or promotional graphics.

  • Social: Click this icon to add social media icons and link them to various professional profiles.

  • Elements: This menu serves as the primary entry point for inserting Details, Images, Social icons, Apps, and Design elements onto the canvas.

  • Apps: Click this icon to integrate third-party tools or specialized signature features like banners and meeting schedulers.

  • Design: Click this icon to adjust the global style of your signature, including font families and color palettes.


How do I use the Studio interface?

The Studio interface is divided into functional areas to help users navigate the design process.

  • Studio canvas: The center of the screen displays a live preview of your email signature. You can drag and drop elements and rearrange them directly on the Studio canvas.

  • Left panel: The left panel allows you to switch between different editing categories (such as Details, Images, Social icons, etc.) to build and customize your email signature.

  • Element editing: Clicking a specific element on the Studio canvas opens detailed editing tabs in the left panel.

  • Drag-and-drop movement: Users can click and hold an element on the Studio canvas to move it up, down, left, or right.

  • Save changes: The Save button in the top right corner secures updates and automatically applies them to all assigned employees.

  • Preview options: The Preview button in the top right corner allows users to see how the signature looks for different employees on both desktop. mobile, and dark mode views.

  • AI Designer: Use the chat box below the Studio canvas to generate or optimize your signature with AI.


How do I find and choose a template?

When starting a new signature, you can use our template gallery to find a pre-designed layout that fits your brand.

  • Browse by Style: Toggle between Corporate (structured, traditional) or Professional (modern, sleek) designs.

  • Filter by Industry: Narrow your search by selecting categories: Finance, Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, or Tech.

  • Filter by Role: Find layouts tailored for specific departments: Marketing or Design & Creative.

  • Start from scratch: If you prefer to build a custom layout, click Start from scratch at the bottom of the sidebar to bypass the gallery.

Note: Our available templates are the ones found directly within the Studio. Templates shown on our public website (wisestamp.com/templates) may differ slightly from the in-app library.


How do I create a new signature?

Follow these instructions to start a new project within the Studio.

  1. Click New Signature in the top right corner of the main navigation panel.

  2. Select Try the new Studio.

  3. Choose a template from the gallery (filtered by Style, Industry, or Role) or click Start from scratch for a blank layout.

  4. Modify the elements on the Studio canvas to finalize the design.


How do I edit an existing signature?

Users can update existing designs at any time using the Studio.

  1. Click Signatures in the main navigation panel.

  2. Select Edit on the specific signature that requires changes.

  3. Add or remove elements using the Studio left panel navigation.

  4. Update text, links, or images on the Studio canvas.

  5. Adjust the design and layout settings before clicking Save.
