Adding & Managing Social Icons
How do I add a social media icon to my signature?
Click the Social icon in the left panel of the Studio. If the platform you want isn't already listed there, click (+) Add Social Icon at the bottom of the list. You can then choose from a wide variety of supported platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and more).
How do I link my social profiles?
For each platform listed, you need to provide the destination link:
For URL-based platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X): Paste the full URL of your profile or company page into the designated field, or use a variable you've already set up in company or employee data.
For Username-based platforms (Instagram, TikTok): Enter your specific handle or username, or use a variable you've already set up in company or employee data.
Can I use dynamic variables for social links?
Yes. By clicking the dropdown arrow on the right side of any social field, you can choose to pull a link from your Company Data or Employee Data.
Company Data: Uses the same brand link for everyone (e.g., the corporate LinkedIn page).
Employee Data: Uses a unique link for each sender (e.g., each salesperson’s individual LinkedIn profile).
For information about variables for social icons, see How to Use Variables in the Studio.
Can I add two icons for the same social media type?
WiseStamp does not support adding multiple instances of the same social media icon inside, for example two separate LinkedIn icons linking to different pages.
Workaround: duplicate the entire Social element in your signature, then set up the second element with the additional icon and link. Each Social element holds one icon per platform, so two elements let you display the same platform twice with different destinations.
Each Social element has its own design and layout settings. After duplicating, check that the styling of the second element matches the first so the icons appear consistent in your signature.
Customizing Social Icons
How do I change the order of my social icons?
To rearrange how the icons appear in your signature, simply click and hold a social media row and drag it up or down to your preferred order.
How do I remove a social icon?
If you no longer want to display a specific platform, hover over that row and click the trash icon on the right.
How do I style my social icons (color, shape, size)?
You style your social icons in the Contextual Design Bar above the signature. Click the Social Icons block on the Studio Canvas (the signature preview in the center), and the styling controls appear in the bar above the signature. From there you can set:
Socials: Choose between the official social media colors (each platform's own brand color) and your own branding color (your signature's theme colors).
Icon color: Choose your own branding color for the social icons.
Direction: Set the direction in which the icons are arranged.
Spacing: Set the spacing between the icons.
Icon style: Choose the icon style. The options are With background, With border, and Without background.
Icon shape: Set the shape of the icons.
Icon size: Set the size of the icons. The options are Small, Medium, and Large.
Icon background size: Set the size of the background behind each icon.
Tip: You can also resize the social icons block by dragging it directly on the Studio Canvas. Click the block to select it, then drag its resize handles. See Design Your Signature with the Studio for more on resizing elements on the canvas.
Background, Border, and Position: The social icons element also has Background, Border, and Position settings (click the three-dot icon in the Contextual Design Bar), like other elements. When you click one of these in the Contextual Design Bar, its controls open in the left panel.
To style the social icons for your whole signature at once, you can also use the Socials option in the Global Design Bar across the top of the canvas. The Global Design Bar styles the signature as a whole, while the Contextual Design Bar styles the selected social icons block.
