How to Add and Edit an App
Step 1: Choose your App
Click the Apps icon in the left panel, then select an app from the list (such as Styled Signoff, Call to Action, or Legal Disclaimer). This will open the app’s editing options and automatically add the app to your signature, allowing you to preview it in the Studio Canvas.
Step 2: Customize with Content, Design, and Layout
Every app gives you the same three groups of controls. Content is in the left panel. Design and Layout are in the Contextual Design Bar above the signature, which appears when you select the app on the canvas.
Content (in the left panel): This is where you define what the app says.
Example: For a Call to Action, you'll enter the button text and the destination URL. For a Disclaimer, you'll paste your legal text here.
Design (in the Contextual Design Bar above the signature): This is where you define how it looks.
Example: Adjust the button color, font style, border thickness, or icon size to match your company branding.
Layout (in the Contextual Design Bar above the signature): This is where you define where it sits within its block.
Positioning Grid: See that grid of dots? Click them to "pin" your sign-off to the Left, Center, or Right, and move it to the Top, Middle, or Bottom of its space.
Spacing (Padding): Use the little boxes with numbers to add "breathing room" around your sign-off. If it feels too crowded against your logo or text, just bump these numbers up to push it away slightly.
To edit an app that is already in your signature, click it directly on the Studio Canvas.

Call to Action: Inserts a high-visibility button to drive clicks to webinars, bookings, or websites.
Legal Disclaimer: A dedicated space for mandatory confidentiality or compliance notices.
Image Gallery: Showcases a row of clickable portfolio images or products.
Banner: Adds a wide banner image to your signature, with an optional link.
Promotion: Adds a promotional element with an icon, title, description, and button to highlight an offer or event.

How to use Styled Signoffs
Content (in the left panel):
Pick Your Style: Choose between a simple handwritten phrase (left-side box) or one that includes the employee name (right-side box).
Closing phrase: Use the dropdown menu to pick a classic goodbye like "Best," "Kind regards," or "Sincerely." You can also type your own by selecting Custom text.
Sign as: Use the dropdown menu to choose which name you want here.
Value taken from: Choose where the information is pulled from (Employee data, Company data, or Free text to type it in manually).
Field value: Select the specific detail you want to show from that source, such as a Name, Job Title, or Department, or simply type the text you'd like if you chose Free text.
Animate: Turn on Animate to make your signature look like it's being written by an invisible hand right as your recipient opens the email.
Design (in the Contextual Design Bar above the signature): When you select the signoff on the canvas, the Contextual Design Bar shows three sub-tabs so you can style each part separately: Signoff (the whole element), Phrase (the closing phrase), and Sign as (the signed name).
Signoff sub-tab (the whole element): Sets the Background, Border, and Position for the entire signoff. These open in the left panel when clicked.
Phrase sub-tab (the closing phrase, such as "Kind regards,"): Offers standard text controls, font, font size, color, bold, italic, underline, letter case, alignment, line height, and letter spacing. The closing phrase uses standard fonts, not the handwriting fonts.
Sign as sub-tab (the signed name): Sets the color, the handwriting font style, and the size of the name. The handwriting "personality" font styles apply here, including Boss Signature, MS Madi, Yellowtail, Waterfall, Sacramento, and Great Vibes. Size options are Small, Medium, and Large.
*If both a closing phrase (such as "Kind regards") and an employee name are used, only the employee name (the Sign as part) supports the special handwriting font styles. The closing phrase (the Phrase part) remains in standard text fonts.
The Styled Signoff app is limited to one instance per signature and cannot be added multiple times. If you are already using it, the Styled Signoff app option in the left panel will be disabled and unavailable.

How to Use Banner

Content (in the left panel):
Add a banner: Click Add a banner to upload your banner image. You can add a file from your device, a link, or a cloud source.

Design and Layout (in the Contextual Design Bar above the signature): Click the banner on the Studio Canvas to set its Background, Border, and Position. When you click one of these, its controls open in the left panel.
The Banner app adds a banner directly to a single signature. To run a banner across many signatures as a managed campaign, use the Campaigns feature instead. See Email Signature Campaigns.
How to Use Promotion
The Promotion app adds a promotional element to your signature, with an icon, a title, a description, and a button. It is useful for highlighting an offer, a webinar, or another call to action.
Content (in the left panel):

FAQs
I can't find where to add a disclaimer. Where is it?
I can't find where to add a disclaimer. Where is it?
The disclaimer is an app, not a separate sidebar section. To add one, open your signature in the Studio, click the Apps icon in the left panel, and select Legal Disclaimer. It is added to your signature and you can edit the wording under Content in the left panel (choose a preset Type, or pick Custom to write your own). To have more than one disclaimer you will need to click on the disclaimer already on the Studio Canvas. Then, click the Duplicate icon on the top right of the disclaimer. Edit the disclaimer accordingly.
If you already have an existing disclaimer, click the existing disclaimer directly on the Studio Canvas to edit it (see the next question).
I already had a disclaimer. How do I edit or update its text?
I already had a disclaimer. How do I edit or update its text?
Your existing disclaimer is still there. To edit it, open your signature in the Studio and click the disclaimer text directly on the Studio Canvas (the signature preview in the center). The Legal Disclaimer app opens, and you can update the wording under Content in the left panel. Click outside the app or save your signature to keep the change. To duplicate the disclaimer, click the disclaimer text directly on the Studio Canvas and then click the Duplicate icon on the top right of the disclaimer.
Why doesn't my disclaimer span the full width of the email?
Why doesn't my disclaimer span the full width of the email?
In the Studio, the disclaimer follows the width of your signature rather than the full width of the email body. This is intentional, so your signature renders consistently across different email clients. There is no setting in the Studio to make the disclaimer extend across the full email body.
If your disclaimer previously spanned the full width of the email and now sits within the signature width, this is usually because your signature was moved to the Studio. To get the full-width behavior back, you can switch to the Classic Editor and restore a previous version of your signature, where the disclaimer spans the full email body. If you would like help with this, reach out to our support team.
How do I add more than one of the same app?
How do I add more than one of the same app?
To add multiple instances of the same app, simply select the app again from the left panel.
For example, if you want to add two buttons:
Click the Call to Action app once to add the first button.
Click Apps again in the left panel.
Select Call to Action a second time to add another button.
Some apps, including Styled Signoff, Legal Disclaimer, Banner, Green footer, and Quote, can only be selected once from the Apps list, so once one is on your signature its option there appears greyed out. To add another of these, click the one already on the Studio Canvas and click the Duplicate icon at its top right, then edit the copy.
If I choose a signoff that includes the employee’s name, is it possible to make it appear handwritten?
If I choose a signoff that includes the employee’s name, is it possible to make it appear handwritten?
In this case, the employee’s name will have handwritten font options available, while the signoff text itself (such as “Kind regards”) will use the standard text font options.
