Employees often need to share links quickly—whether it’s sending a Calendly link to a client, including a Google Doc link in an email, or posting a branded link on social media. To make this happen, admins can open Links access to employees. In this article, we’ll show you how employees can use the Links feature either from their Employee Hub or directly from the Chrome Extension.

You can create, share, and manage links in the Employee Hub.
Go to your Employee Hub.
On the main navigation panel, click Links.
Click Add new link.
You can now create and manage links just like an admin, but through the Employee Hub. Follow the steps in Creating Links and Managing Links to get started.
Using the Chrome Extension
You can quickly create and share links from Google Chrome with the WiseStamp Chrome Extension. To manage them, use the Employee Hub.
Open Google Chrome and click the WiseStamp icon at the top right. Learn how to install the WiseStamp Chrome Extension here.
You’ll see two tabs you can switch between – Links and Signatures. Select Links.
Fill out your link details. See Creating Links for more guidance on this step.
Click Create link.
Use the copy icon to share your link.
Click Manage links to go to your Employee Hub, where you can create new links or manage existing ones. See Managing Links for more details.

Admin vs. Employee Access
Feature | Admin | Employee |
View all company links | ✅ | ❌ |
View own links | ✅ | ✅ |
Change link owner | ✅ | ❌ |
Create from Chrome Extension | ❌ | ✅ |
Add custom domain | ✅ | ❌ |
What this means:
View all company links: Admins can see every link created across the company through the WiseStamp dashboard, which allows them to monitor and manage company-wide link activity. Employees, on the other hand, can only see the links they personally created.
View own links: Both admins and employees can view the links they created themselves. This means employees always have access to their own links for sharing or editing.
Change link owner: Admins have the ability to reassign a link to another employee. This can be helpful if an employee leaves or if a link needs to be managed by someone else. Employees cannot change the owner of a link.
Create from Chrome Extension: Employees can quickly create links directly from the WiseStamp Chrome Extension without going through the WiseStamp dashboard, which makes sharing links faster. Admins do not have this option, as they manage links centrally.
Add custom domain: Only admins can set up and add a custom domain for links. Employees do not have access to this feature in their Employee Hub, as it affects the entire company’s branding and link structure.
Employee Access Settings for Admins
On the main navigation panel, click Settings.

Troubleshooting
How can I create a branded link instead of using the default domain of WiseStamp?
If your company has a custom domain, you’ll see it as an option when creating a link. You don’t need to set it up yourself—just select it from the choices your admin has made available. If your company doesn’t have a custom domain yet, you can ask your admin to set one up. For more details, see Setting Up a Custom Domain for Links.
Can multiple employees manage the same link?
Each link can only have one owner. That means you can manage the links you create, but you won’t be able to manage someone else’s link at the same time. While admins can reassign ownership if needed, each link is managed by a single person—either an admin or an employee.
